Canteen
Killara Public School Canteen is open on Mondays only and offers a variety of healthy food and drinks which are both nutritious and enjoyable.
The Canteen is also open on Fridays at lunchtimes during the summer months for the sale of ice-creams, ice-blocks and drinks only.
The Killara Canteen is operated by the P & C and is run by parent volunteers. If you wish to volunteer your time, if only once a term, please contact the canteen supervisor or the school office.
The canteen operates on a slim profit margin and monitors the prices carefully to ensure we offer quality food at very reasonable prices. Any profit made by the canteen is channeled back into the school.
The canteen does not use peanut butter or Nutella, however parents and students should be aware that there may be traces of nuts in other food products we sell.
Every second Thursday is "Sushi Day" . This day is very popular with both the children and teachers. The sushi is sourced from a local supplier and is made fresh that morning. Click on the link below for an order form. The orders close on the Tuesday before.
